Ankeny Miracle Leauge Fall Season Wraps Up

The Iowa State Women's Basketball team helped close out the Ankeny Miracle Parks Fall Season on October 4th.  It was a little chilly to start, but there was plenty of competition on the field.  All had fun though and the day wrapped up with a pizza party and medals for the players.  Thanks ISU Women's Basketball team for being Angels in the Outfield.  See everyone next season!

"Operation Underwear" is a community-wide Kiwanis Club of Ankeny initiative, created in response to Ankeny Schools nurses and The Ankeny Klothing Exchange citing an ongoing need for new packages of children's underwear and socks.  Public collection bins are housed at the Kirkendall Public Library and Ankeny Community Education Office (Neveln Resource Center).  In addition to socks and underwear, nurses welcome donations of children's sweatpants in neutral colors.
