Opening day for the 2018 Spring season of the Ankeny Kiwanis Miracle League is May 5.  Youth league games are from 9 AM - Noon.  Adult League games are from Noon - 2 PM.  Stop by and cheer the players on!

Join the Ankeny Kiwanis Club for an Easter Egg Hunt at Hawkey Park starting at 10:30 AM on March 24th.   Four age group: 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8.  Also there will be an accessible egg hunt at Miracle Park...age guidelines are flexible for the accessible hunt.

Ankeny Kiwanis Club and Kiwanis-sponsored Key Club high school service groups collected food donations the Sunday before Thanksgiving at the Ankeny Hy-Vee stores — helping DMARC/ stock up food pantries for Thanksgiving!!! Thank you, Ankeny Hy-Vee stores and all who donated! 

In total 1,227 food items and $1,016.50 in cash were donated — an increase from last year’s numbers:  36% increase in food and 35% increase in money donations! 

Over $3,700 Raised at the Putt Around the District Event - 10/30/2017

Thank you to everyone who participated in the first Putt Around the District with Kiwanis event.  We raised voer $3,700 dollars that will go toward Project Eliminate, working to eliminate Neonatal Tetanus worldwide.

Registration is now open for the Putt Around the District with Kiwanis.  Held on September 21 in The District at Prairie Trail, this fun filled event will have participants mini-golfing their way through various businesses in The District.  The $150 four person team registration fee covers the golf and after party at the Venue.

Pancake Breakfast set for July 8 during SummFest Parade - 07/08/2017

Join the Ankeny Kiwanis Club for its annual PancakFest at the Ankeny Band Shell during the SummerFest Parade, prime viewing location for the parade.  This all-you-can eat breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee, milk and water.  Cost is $5/person.  Breakfast to go also available.

Proceeds will benefit Ankeny Kiwanis’ service activities.  These include:  scholarships, “Operation Underwear,’’ sponsoring Park & Rec’s Super Kids and the YMCA’s “YPartners” program.  Donations will also be collected for Ankeny Miracle Park.

Ankeny Kiwanis Club along with Ankeny Key Club collected food items and cash to support DMARC's food pantry at both Ankeny Hy-Vee locations.  Over 900 food items and $765 in cash were collected.  Thank you to all who donated, they Hy-Vee Food Stores!
